Dr. A. Choubal

Dr. Anand Choubal was born and raised in Saskatoon from where he graduated from the College of Dentistry in 2003. During his last year of Dental school he received the Operative Dentistry Award from the 3M company. Immediately after graduating Dr. Choubal started working in private practice and teaching as a clinical instructor at the U of S Dental College.

Dr. A. Choubal is also a General Dentist who offers Specialty Services. These include removal of complicated/impacted wisdom teeth, root canal therapy of difficult teeth, gum surgery and sedation. Methods of sedation include Nitrous Oxide and oral sedatives. Sedation is available for any procedure.

Dr. Choubal's primary goal is to eliminate tooth deacay and gum disease. This is done with extensive patient education and ideal restorative techniques. Along with appropriate hygeine these ideal restorations have the ability to provide 20-30 years of service. This treatment approach will virtually eliminate the need for any treatment (i.e drilling) over this 20-30 year period. After ideal treatmet has been completed frequent cleanings and topical fluoride applications are the essentials to preventing any further tooth decay/gum disease. As a side effect the mouth becomes a stable environment that does not need any further treatment. This means no more drilling over an extended period. Prevention of ALL oral diseases is our greatest concern.
